The Casas de Playa art exposition by the amazingly talented Miguel Lopez Vazquez in collaboration with LOOT: Surf and Lifestyle Store was an incredible evening for all in attendance. The Mexico City artist voyaged to Zihuatanejo with his eclectic array of multi-disciplinary art pieces including life sized sculptures of greyhounds and dachshunds, illustrations, paintings over canvas, portraits and home accessories. The exposition was showcased in one of the gorgeous residences of our newly constructed NAO condominium project, located just behind LOOT and the TMRE. This unique combination of art and real estate was a new experience for both TMRE and LOOT and was lavishly put together creating a fully interactive and unique experience. Guests were welcomed with hand crafted cocktails and enjoyed the sounds of opera music as they toured the three bedroom residence participating with the artist and his incredible creations. From the terrace, guests ventured into the garden, greeted by a living muse casually attending to her hounds, her long white dress trailing in the wind. The garden, lit by what seemed like hundreds of lanterns, led guests back to LOOT to dance the night away to the seductive rhythms of the DJ set Tom & Collins.
